So there was an upgrade for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Lets start with the iPhone. It’s all gravy how jiggly works and the adding and moving of icons on the home screen. The text feature that allows you to text multiple people at the same time is cool. The multiple home screens is great. However … What about the VIDEO for the CAMERA????? Dammit if there is still no video from Apple for the camera. Maybe in the next update???
The upgrade to the maps is very cool to. GPS like tracking is the way to go but satellite would have been cooler! The only other thing that would make the iPhone better right now is if it could shoot a laser beam for self defense. Or video for self defense!
The iPod got a few cool new features. Maps and what not. For $20 you can get the upgrades for the $300 iPod Touch. Weird. All in all these upgrades are awesome! Can’t wait for the next ones. I only hope that it’s not another 1/4 of a year before we can get them.
There was a video that we found going on that lasted a good while but we didn’t get to see as much as we had hoped. ErnsWorld posted about the different things that were going on there and it looks as though the iPhone and the iPod are getting some well needed upgrades today. When today? Who knows.
If you have an iPod … one of the new generation iPods .. you are going to get a few upgrades that are looking pretty good.
The iPhone is also getting a few handy dandy upgrades like GPS through WiFi and Radio Tower Triangulation. That looks to be pretty promising if you are somewhere that can pick up a signal you will know where you are in relevance to your Google Maps.
If you don’t have an iPhone now is a great time to get one. These updates are going to make the iPhone the only phone you will ever need. Like having the world in your little hand.
So we will wait until the Keynote is broadcast since the live video feed went down about 20 minutes ago. Maybe they had too many visitors and viewers. We will keep trying the Refresh though! Good Times!
